In many use cases, there is a need to manage credentials and variables locally. We have developed a set of activities to provide this functionality.
The screenshots in this blog post are based on version 2105.
Local Agent Variables
A set of activities called "Local Agent Variables" allows the creation, updating, retrieval, and deletion of local variables stored within the Windows registry of the local computer.
Use Cases
Local agent variables aim to maintain a state between automation executions within the same project or beyond. For example, counting the number of times the automation starts.
Set Local Agent Variable
With the activity 'Set Local Agent Variable', you can set the value of a variable and create it if it does not already exist.
