Hi Friends,
Project knowledge Transfer (KT) is very important process in a project but somehow, we do not give enough importance to it. An effective project KT is the foundation of successful project execution. Today in this short blog, I would like to provide a few guidelines which might be useful while arranging project KT.
Guidelines
–
-
In-person KT is always better than virtual KT
- Though we have advanced in virtual communication by using different applications & tools, when it comes to KT, face-to-face option is the most effective. Wherever possible, arrange in-person KT and allow face-to-face interaction.
-
Use of White Boards
- Complex processes must be explained on whiteboards by incorporating diagrams, process flows & arrows. It creates a long-lasting impact on the audience. Here, understanding is more important than memorizing.
-
Say No to Notes
- Do not allow the audience to take notes while listening to the presenters. It creates distractions. Stay focused on content. The audience loses the essence while taking notes and sometimes the presenter may not like it.
